Striving For Perfection

Being perfect is now the new thing which haunts everybody nowadays. When we starts something, we want to be perfect at it and that too from the very first day.
Why do we need to be perfect from the very first day?

We see so many amazing work all around us and we love it and when we are about to create something new we want it to be like the stuff we read or see, which is again perfect. We also adore Aamir Khan and his work for being perfectionist.

perfectionIn all these times we also want to create something and we want it to be perfect and sometimes this feeling gets in the way of creation itself. What it means that we create something and never show it to the world since it’s not perfect yet. Many times we prepare so much that we almost never reach to the end product and again never show it to the world.

We are also extremely critical of our work and we reject it as soon as we see any flaw in it, resulting we never publish something to the world and never let other see our work in the first place.

Ask yourself what is better not shipping your work to the world or let it ship irrespective of the quality of the final product?

I am not saying to ship it improperly, what I am trying to convey here is put a deadline on yourself and ship your work before that because that would help you to at least publish your work and proceed forward.

All I am saying is don’t let perfection be in the way of your creation rather create so many times that the work become perfect,  because if you look closely nobody was perfectionist from the day 1.

Thank you,

Faisal
